Who am I?
Existentially, that’s a big question…but on a much shallower level, I’m a writer; radio / TV presenter and small business owner. My first love is with words and using them to communicate a message - whether that’s a live radio phone-in, an article in a newspaper or through a book (although they take flippin ages to write so I prefer the shorter modalities right now). There is no greater joy in life than a wonderful conversation and if there happens to be a few million people listening in, even better. When I write an article, I like it to inspire debate. Having a good hard think is good for the soul and the brain…
My Family
I have 3 kids. Lots of people do. Mine are nothing special. But they are polite and kind (not always to each other) and they can read and write. They are my biggest achievement and the biggest pain in my arse. I love them with an annoying fierceness which means although they drive me mad, I love their company and would throw myself under a bus for them. But even then they wouldn’t be grateful.
